One of my New Years resolutions is to read MORE books. So this posting is a start.

1. Dan Brown's books

- Books to read: Angles & Demons, Deception Point, Digital Fortress, Da Vinci Code.

- I've read Da Vinci Code two years ago.

* update: read all 4 books!

2. JK Rowling : Harry Potter series

- yes. i never read any HP books before.

* update: hmm. i don't think i'm able to read the Harry Potter series. there are too many characters to remember, and there's so many books. I rather watch the movies. :))

3. Sophie Kinsella's books

- i want to find out why every girl is reading her book. is it that good?

* update: hmm. i actually read about 3-5 pages of the 1st book, and it was.. err... no offence to those who love Sophie Kinsella's books, this type of book is not for me. i think i'll stick to bloody / gruesome / investigation / action / mystery / horror / paranormal.. books.

4. Stephenie Meyer: Twilight series

- Twilight, New Moon, Esclipse, Breaking Dawn.

- The Host

* update: good stuff! have done reading 2 books already. 2 more to go.. and last one to read is The Host!

5. Cornelia Funke: Inkworld Trilogy

- Inkheart, Inkspell, Inkdeath.

* update: watched Inkheart the movie.. not really entertaining. :(

6. Any e-books on guides/self-motivation.. etc

3. Stephenie Meyer - Twilight (Audio book)

Comments:

- read the book! now the movie... (DONE!!)

- updated: erm. watched the movie. the movie is not as good as the book. there were a lot of 'must have' scenes which were left out, making the movie quite jumpy and fast pace like the movie - Da Vinci Code. i'm not sure, people who have not read the book felt the same way. they should make the movie as long as 3-4 hours, like LOTR. i don't care. i'll watch it for sure!

- i really hope Kristen Stewart was not chosen to be Bella Swan. She didn't do a good job being Bella! I prefer Olivia Thirlby. :(

4. Dan Brown - Digital Fortress (Audio book )

- errm. i keep seeing a familiar twist in Dan Browns' books. the bad guy is ALWAYS the big boss. i've read; 'Da Vinci Code', 'Angel & Demons' and 'Digital Fortress'.. and all 3 have similiar twists. why is that? if 'Deception' also ends up having the same twist.. i going to be speechless. :-s

- 3 books from Dan Brown done! 1 more to go.

5. Stephenie Meyer - New Moon (Audio book)

Comments:

- not a disappointment as always!

- i read the 1st 30 - 60 pages.. and i CRIED! correction: i WEPT!! hahaha.

- reading this book reminds me of the time when I was despressed.

- 2nd book: u'll start to hate Edward, and start liking Jacob... and u feel like saying to Bella,"Get a grip, girl!!".

- this book is a bit draggy, especially the middle part. if you've read the summary you'll know that Edward will be 'away' somewhere near the 1st 1/4 of the book, and he will 'reappear' at the end (last 1/4) of the book.

6. Dan Brown - Deception Point (Audio book )

Comments:

- errm.. this book is really boring me to death. i haven't reach the action part yet. where is the action??!! *yawn* is this book too heavy for me? which explains why.. i started to read another book! (New Moon) hahaha :))

- the book started to get interesting when i reach the 100th page. huhu.

- FINISH!!

7. Kurt Vonnegut - 2 B R O 2 B (Ebook: Short Stories)
