Apple Crumble

The easiest dessert to make using only 4 ingredients.

Serves: 4
Oven Temperature: 150° c

3 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and diced into chunks
125 g sugar
1 clove or cinnamon stick
100 g plain white flour
60 g butter

Cook the apples
Cook apples, ¾ of sugar and clove/cinnamon stick until soft

Make the crumble
Mix flour, ¼ of sugar, butter until you get breadcrumb consistency

Preheat oven
Set the temperature of the oven to 150ºC

Put the apples into the serving dish and allow to cool. Cover the apples with the crumble topping, without pressing down

Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown

Spoon a helping of apple crumble into a dish and serve with cream or ice cream
